Below are the instructions to tighten the microscope arm if your microscope is drooping and not staying in the desired position. 

You should never over-tighten or use force when performing mechanical maintenance as the arm will spring back and permanently damage the product. 

To prevent this from happening, we do recommend that tightening should just be done by hand instead of using any tools.

1. Open the cover of the arm with a cross screwdriver


2. Open the casing of the arm

3. Rotate this screw clockwise until the microscope no longer droops and can stay in the desired position. 

After adjustment, please place the cover back onto the arm and return screws.
