How do I prevent the Microscope cable from twisting?
You should not continuously twist the microscope head 360 degrees.
Once it has been twisted the full 360 degrees twist the opposite direction, return to 0 degrees rather than simply turning in a circle.
Please ensure you do not twist the microscope cable (figure 1) as this will cause permanent long term damage to it (figure 2).
Wrapping the cable will cause warping within the cord, this then results in the outer layers of the wiring to become exposed.
Causing not only long term damage to the unit but also, a potential safety hazard to anyone using the machine.
You should always ensure that all cables are free of kinks and are in-tact before using.
