When launching your winspiroPRO® software for the first time, you will be asked to fill in various preferences and values.

You can change these values at any time by selecting ‘Configuration’ and then 'Options’. The following settings may need to be adjusted:
 
General: Select metric or imperial measurements according to preference. Identify the correct turbine

Communication: Depending on your device, select USB or the correct serial/COM port. If you are unsure of the correct serial/COM port number, check the Control Panel à Devices à Device Manager of the computer or mobile device.
 
ATTENTION:  Some PCs have a BIOS sleep function which may affect one or more USB ports. If your device is not identified, you may have to disconnect and reconnect it to the USB port or use a different port. This situation may also occur during winspiroPRO® launch when the device has been dormant from some time.
